Readers Do..

Readers take the scripts prepared by the editors and record them on to the news tapes, under the guidance of the recording engineer. There are five half hour scripts to be recorded each Friday.
 
We have two reader sessions each Friday. The first is from 11am until 1 pm and the second from 7.30pm until 9.30 pm.

All prospective readers are given a reading test before acceptance. We sometimes have a waiting list for readers and give preference to volunteers already working with us doing other jobs. Several of our editors stay on to read in the morning session.
