Editors do...
The editors select from the local papers those items which are relevant to the edition of the news tapes they are preparing and from those selected items prepare the scripts for reading. They normally work in a team of four- one for each edition - with guidance from the production supervisor.
Editing is done between 9 am and 11 am on each Friday. There is a rota which means that each volunteer is on duty one week in four.
Volunteers who wish to do so are welcome to undertake more than this minimum requirement.
